Even after ‘humiliating’ removal of controversial and unpopular director of Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurial Development Institute (JKEDI), his favourites are continue to ruin the institute for their alleged vested interests.
In the latest instance, the first generation entrepreneurs, who had applied for loan with JKEDI under different activities are forced to run pillar to post for release of money, despite completion of training.
According to sources, the entrepreneurs who have done training in JKEDI from June 2018 (Batch 161) onwards are forced to suffer in the hands of JKEDI officials.
“The candidates approached every post and pillar even they have registered their grievance on the Governor’s grievance cell, but the arrogant behaviour of the employees of JKEDI particularly Communication Officers trying to fool us and are misleading us from June 2018 regarding steering committee and also they suggested us to lock down JKEDI,” said the aggrieved candidate
“The young entrepreneurs are left to the mercy of God, because even after completing requisite training, EDI is reluctant to release their sponsored money, ” said sources, adding that the candidates have approached every post and pillar, but nothing to their rescue.
“Aspirants are paying rent without starting business and who is going to compensate it,” said sources adding that the aspirants have also requested the Governor to personally intervene into this matter.
