In yet another instance of alteration of official documents at Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ), a panel of non-recommended Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers has been nominated to head district and zonal Educational & Cultural cell in Kishtwar.
According to reports, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar had recommended a panel of 19 teachers and masters to the Directorate of School Education Jammu for the nomination of District Incharge Cultural Cell (DICC) and Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell (DICC).
“The panel list as submitted by the CEO has been tempered and a forgery has been committed by some officials to accommodate the blue eyed candidates,” alleged sources, adding that among the non-recommended names, Miss. Awani Sen and Miss. Roshan Ara tops the list.
Miss Awani is ReT upgraded to 3rd teacher and has been nominated as DICC for Kishtwar, but she was reportedly never recommended by the CEO. She has been nominated from outside the panel and not included in the panel five teachers. Similarly, Miss. Roshan Ara is also ReT upgraded to Teacher Grade ii has been nominated as ZICC Marwah. She is alsonominated from outside and not included in the panel of two teachers.
“Pawan Sharma has been nominated from outside of panel and wasn’t included in the panel. Sudeep Sharma has been nominated from outside the panel and not recommended for ZICC Kishtwar and Piyari Lal was taken from the panel recommended for Inderwal but shown as a teacher instead of master,” informed sources, adding that the entire order suffers from misrepresentation and forgery committed by some officials.
Sharing the further details, the sources, said that as ordered by DSEJ vide office order No DSEJ/CUL/27566-88 dated 20-08-2021, ordering for recommending a panel of teachers for their selection as DICC and ZICC at District and Zonal level along with their routine teaching work.
“Chief Education Officer recommended a panel of teachers vide order No CEO/K/2021/16117 dated 26-08-2021 for the constitution of District and Zonal Cultural coordinators of district cultural cell and seven zones of district Kishtwar to the Directorate of school education Jammu,” said sources, adding that for district in-charge cultural cell kishtwar, CEO recommended a panel of five teachers for onward selection of one teacher for the position of district in-charge cultural coordinator.
When contacted Chief Education Officer (CEO) kishtwar-Sudershan Kumar, he said that he has joined the post recently and has no idea about the matter. He, however, handed over the phone to an official at the CEO office, who admitted that the teachers who have been nominated were never recommended by the CEO office.
“CEO office did not recommend the names of the people who have been figured in the list,” said Ashwani, a teacher at the CEO office. When asked about the latest update in the matter, he said that the CEO office cannot challenge any order issued from the Directorate of School Education.
However, Director School Education Jammu-Ravi Shankar Sharma did not respond to the repetitive calls.
